Marionette's Mute Musings V2

If there’s one thing that I rarely or almost don’t blog at all, it is about reviewing what I’ve done for the entire year.

Here are the things that I could think of on-the-fly:

1. No scooter accidents. But poor Mosquito’s in pretty bad shape. The battery issue isn’t resolved up to this date. But Mosquito’s a good, loyal companion. I miss riding Mosquito. Not to mention I became extra cautious when Mosquito lost the extra big security lock. =(

2. Laptop. I got a brand new “low end” laptop, paid for by my dad. To be really honest, now my “digital productivity” has increased by nearly 50x. The sheer difference of having a laptop and not having a laptop to boot (even in the most bizarre cases) are not something to overlook. I really appreciate having this laptop, even at times I’m frustated at its ‘incompetency’ when it comes to certain extra-heavy-duty tasks.

3. Gaming. I didn’t pay much attention to gaming, only during the year end, I was going through alot of old PS2 titles, some which I’ve revisited again, and again, and again (its funny that I’ve never revisited a game more than twice, but I’ve played Front Mission at least more than 6x accumulated.

4. Academic. Somehow I only , technically failed 1 paper (which should be rectified soon), but this year has been my most “academically excellent” year. LOL

5. Family.  Met dad & mum, and not once, but twice that the entire family met up. Oh, aunt Teoh Poay Tan is now officially my stepmother. 2 moms (although by different nature), I guess life’s pretty interesting from this point forward.  Whole family took a ‘family picture’, courtesy of Counsellor Rouhani. Haha!

Maybe I’ll continue later, if I can.

Just before Bon Odori

Somehow I wasn’t able to post comments on my own blog, although I can moderate who gets to post, what gets posted (so many spams!), and what not:

There’s a cat, that has a name that sounds more like fitting to a badger than a cat. But this guy, is my ceiling cat.

Now something has happened to my ceiling cat.

No, nothing that serious, its just that I thought I had been delivered what was worse than the ‘holy trinity’ of illness. Headache, fever, giddiness, loss of weight (now down to 4 kilos [when I started falling sick I lost around 7 kgs]) . As of now I’m still standing at 75-76kg (compared to 80+ before I fell sick), and wondering if I can shed further till 60++. No reduction in waistline, though.
